BOUSSON de MAIRET (Emmanuel) (1796–1871) – Autograph manuscript: History of Charles the Bold, the last Duke of Burgundy of the Valois branch, killed at Nancy on 5 January 1477. By Emm. Bousson de Mairet, former professor and university official, member of several learned societies. Manuscript dated 19 March 1822. Small folio comprising 1 title leaf + 202 pp. Modern Bradel half-cloth binding, plain spine with decoration (Laurenchet workshop). A rare autograph manuscript by Bousson de Mairet, which has almost certainly never been printed. Enriched with a fold-out map entitled ‘Map of the theatre of war between Charles the Bold and the Swiss’.
