[DROZ (François-Nicolas-Eugène)] Droz Collection MANUSCRIPT: Parliament (17th–18th centuries). Remonstrances and memoranda (including some printed judgements). Large quarto. Contemporary full calf, with a decorated ribbed spine. It contains several documents relating to the affairs of Parliament, notably: reflections on the libellum published by M. de B., entitled ‘Account of the current disturbances in the Parliament of Franche-Comté’. an account of what took place in Besançon and Dole when His Grace the Duke of Tallard came to take up his post, etc. A rare copy from the Droz collection; see lot no. 102 from the Droz ‘Château de Vregille’ sale in Dijon in 1924. Ex-libris of Jean Girardot.
