GARNERET (Jean) and CULOT (Charles): Popular Songs of the Franche-Comté. Besançon, Folklore Comtois, 1971–1985. One of twenty deluxe copies on pure rag vellum, hand-formed on large-format paper, numbered; this is copy no. 8, featuring five etchings and an original drawing by the author. 3 substantial vols. in-4°, full shagreen binding, ribbed spine, with a mosaic design over a photographic background on the front covers, accompanied by 4 45rpm records of Franche-Comté songs in a half-shagreen protective slipcase (A. Giordan). A collection of songs, some previously unpublished, with music and dance diagrams opposite, illustrated with numerous figures reproducing old engravings.
