Modern full red shagreen binding, blue and green mosaic rosette on the covers, green mosaic motifs at the corners, cold-stamped lace and a gilt fillet framing the covers, plain spine adorned with two green and beige mosaic motifs, roulette on the edges, interior lace, gilt edges, a gilt Bruno Monnier bookplate on the inside front cover, protective slipcase, original unmarked spine and covers preserved (A. Pierre and Plumelle). A remarkable copy in a superb ‘Cathédrale’ binding by Alain Pierre with gilding by Plumelle.
