[LACROIX (Désiré)]: Brigadier-General Vernier de Byans (Joseph-Hyacinthe). Paris, André Sagnier, 1878. In-8°, 7 pp. Modern Bradel half-board binding, covers preserved (Slight water stains). General Vernier de Byans, born in Goux-les-Usiers in 1805, died in 1878. Includes a handwritten leaf containing his biography and three letters from Ivan Loiseau of Vichy. Ex-libris bearing the coat of arms of Louis Napoléon Michel Ney (1870–1928), great-grandson of Marshal Ney, Duke of Elchingen and Prince of Moskowa.
