Description
Miserey (saltworks of) MANUSCRIPT: Original copy of the decree concerning the Land and Lordship of Miserey acquired by Mr de Beaumarché. Begun in 1682 by Mr de Gilley, Baron de Marnay, and completed in 1687. In-4, 50 folios. Manuscript on vellum in perfectly legible handwriting. Full contemporary calfskin, with a decorated ribbed spine. Jean Tourbier de Beaumarché was head of the Royal Riding Academy in Besançon.
