PASTEUR (Marie, wife of Louis Pasteur) – MANUSCRIPT: A collection of letters addressed to Madame Rémond, at 29 Grande Rue in Besançon, her cousin. 17 autograph handwritten letters by Marie Pasteur dated from 1881 to 1906, including one telegram addressed to Mr Chamecin of Salins. She gives news of her family; see the fifth letter regarding Louis Pasteur’s work on rabies. In-8 format comprising 17 items mounted on heavy paper and tabbed. Modern full morocco binding, with title on the front cover. A very rare collection, enhanced by a photograph of her cousin, Mrs Rémond.
