[1831]. 12mo, 15 pp. Modern half-imitation morocco, illustrated covers preserved. Author’s autograph inscription on the front cover. ‘This little work, for which I took responsibility, is by Mr Poux de Foncine, then a professor at the seminary in Lons-le-Saunier. It was written in response to the inflammatory proclamations issued by all those in the Hérault. Signed Vattard. It brought me several searches and much harassment from the authorities, who consistently refused to grant me a bookseller’s licence.
