Nouvelles étrennes spirituelles dédiées à Monseigneur le Dauphin. Paris, Louis-Guillaume de Hansy, 1768. Small in-12, olive green morocco, small gilt lace, gilt and red mosaic tulip at the corners, gilt and red mosaic floral (pomegranate) iron in the centre, ornate spine, red title page, inner scroll, gilt paper lining and endpapers with floral motifs, gilt edges, slipcase circa 1900 (Period binding).
Wood-engraved frontispiece by Papillon and numerous vignettes in the text by the same artist.
Bound in morocco decorated with mosaic floral motifs.
Small loss of paper in the margin of 2 leaves and at the corner of leaf E2 (with loss of letters), corner of leaf B7 repaired. Lower head and corners restored.
