First collective edition of these treatises on agriculture, gardening, vineyards, fruit trees and vegetable gardens, originally published between 1535 and 1543 (Oberlé, Kilian Fritsch, no. 55; Renouard, p. 106; Thiébaud, col. 338; Vicaire, col. 344).
The work was translated and published ten years later under the title L'Agriculture et maison rustique (Agriculture and the Rustic House), which was to become the great classic of rural economics that we know today.
