Das Concilium so zu Constantz gehalten ist worden des jars. S.l.n.d. [at colophon]: Augsburg, Heinrich Steyner, 1536. Small gothic folio, hardback circa 1800.
Second edition, decorated with a large woodcut on the title by Hans Weiditz and 45 large engravings by Jörg Breu, the same as those in the original 1483 edition, and numerous coats of arms.
Account of the Council of Constance (1414-1418) which ended the Western Schism.
Missing leaf CXCIII, some wetness and tear with one leaf missing (restored). Worn boards.
