SHF 2583. By one of the most active pamphleteers in the service of Cardinal de Richelieu. Reply to the Apologie du Duc de Luynes published the same year. Fancan resumes his attacks on Luynes, "a poltroon to the extreme", and of unbelievable rapacity. He asked the following question: was I not right to predict, according to his horoscope, that the Duc de Luynes would not live long? He explains, again according to his horoscope, the death of the Duc de Luynes and what became of him. The last six pages contain the "Réjouissance de toute la France, spécialement de tous les bons François, sur la mort du Connestable".
