HAUSER IV, 3252. Follows the 1610 edition printed in Orthez. The woodcut front depicts an equestrian portrait of King Henri IV. The author, born in Béarn in the 16th century, was vice-chancellor of the kingdom of Navarre. Panegyric in a pompous style of King Henry IV. He is animated by ''an all-Béarn sentiment, one could say a Navarrese desire, for war against Spain: Aspe complains about it in Béarn; and Aldude cries it out in Navarre la Basse''. (Hauser).
