MANUSCRIT] - LEBEL, Père, s. j.] - In octo libros Ar(istote)lis de ph(ys)ico auditu Commentarii. (Bourges), 1612. In-4, 262 ff, text ruled in red, contemporary fawn calf, gilt thread on covers, medallions composed of foliage containing on the first plate Antonius and on the second Roddier in gilt letters, spine ribbed and decorated.
Course on the physics of Aristotle. (Bound in sequence:) SACROBOSCO, Joannes de - Astrologia et Sphaera ioannis De sacro bosco, 46 ff, one fig. on pl. page representing Sacrobosco's sphere, qqs. diagrams -- Prologomena in mathematicas disciplinas, 61 pp. qqs. diagrams. A similar manuscript entitled: In universam Aristotelis logicam breve compendium, is kept at the University of Pennsylvania (Ms Codex 11). As with the Physics, it was calligraphed by Antoine Roddier in the same handwriting, using a large module for the divisions. This is another part of the course given by Father Lebel in 1611 at the Jesuit college in Bourges. His commentary on Physics is dated 1612 at the end of the text. Both volumes bear the same supralibros Antonius Roddier and the ms. ex-libris of a later owner: J. J. Michellet.
