In addition to verses by Benserade, Quinault, Segrais, Sarazin, Mme de Villedieu, Boisrobert, Segrais, etc., there are three pieces by Molière: Air de ballet de M. Batiste (2), Récit de Mr. Baptiste. Bacilly, a singing master (c. 1625-1690) from Normandy, became famous for his Remarques curieuses sur l'art de bien chanter (1668).
