DE BACKER n°618. Vol. I (1660) ; vol. II (1662) ; t. III (1658) ; t. IV (1661) ; t. V (1660). Initially published from 1653 to 1660, the number of reprints attests to its success. A reflection of precious literature - the first part contains pieces relating to the famous quarrel between the Uranists and the Jobists - it also represents the Parnassus of the literature of the time, welcoming Corneille, Molière, La Fontaine, Benserade, Perrault, Boisrobert, Brébeuf, Chapelain, Cyrano, Furetière, Gombauld, Malleville, Maucroix, Maynard, Scudéry, Jacqueline Pascal, Scarron, Tristan L'Hermite, Voiture and others.
