DRUJON II, 814. LEVER 355. Dedicated to Madame Deshoulières. Escaped Gay in spite of the gallant subjects dealt with in the six short stories, some of which under disguised names hide real characters. Privilege granted to Claude Barbin in April 1678, who sold it to Thomas Amaulry. Attributed by Paul Lacroix in a notice in the Millot catalogue (1846) to Chassepol. Chassepol had published another work of fiction the same year with Barbin: Histoire des Amazones.
