LEVER 370. First edition (second printing) of this translation dedicated to Charles de Gonzague. It is at the same time the French premiere of Il Rinaldo, first published in Venice in 1562. La Ronce's dedicatory epistle and warning to the reader are followed by verse pieces in Latin and French addressed to the translator and signed: C. B.I.S.C.A., E. Du Parc and de L'Estoille.
