BRUNET II, 1274. First edition.Paul Lacroix (Bulletin du Bibliophile 1860, p. 1581) already pointed out the rarity of this volume "very curious for the history of costume and manners in France". He contrasted it with Grenailles' La Mode (1642). He considered Grenailles to be "one of the best writers of our time".
