Counterfeit of the ed. given by Conlon (III, 35250) in 296 pp. Memoirs written with the greatest truth which relate the youth of the writer. Later the Marquis d'Argens bitterly repented of having published them. Of all my works," he said, "the one I most regret having published is my Memoirs.
