A Historical Drama in which, alongside the great feats and strange adventures of the noble and virtuous Knight Polimantes, Prince of Arfine, several most rare and marvellous events are depicted as they truly happened... Brussels: Rutger Velpius and Hubert Ant., 1613. In-4, brown calfskin, decorated spine (17th-century binding). 8 ff. (Engraved title page, privilege, dedication, preface to the reader), 588 pp., (2 ff.).  First edition of this curious work, written in the style of the old chivalric romances. It is adorned with an engraved title page set within an architectural frame, a frontispiece, a large full-page illustration depicting the entry into Brussels of Albert of Austria and Isabella of Spain (to whom the work is dedicated) and a large number of curious engravings within the text.  Binding restored at the caps and hinges; spine decoration faded.
