London, undated (1740). 2 volumes in-12, fawn calfskin, coat of arms on the covers, decorated spines, red edges (contemporary binding). Second edition (the first being from 1737) of this chivalric novel translated by Caylus from the original Spanish by Juan Martorell. The preface is by Fréret. Barbier II, 797. A copy bearing the coat of arms of Louis-Hilaire du Bouchet, known as the Count of Sourches, born in 1716, captain of dragoons in the Languedoc Regiment. Olivier 580.
