(Title page dated 1667 and preface), title page dated 1669, 193 pp., title of the sequel, pp. 195–402; Title (continuation of the first part dated 1667) pp. 405–790.  A composite copy comprising the title page and preface from the first edition, the first book of the third edition entitled *Rodogune, or the History of the Great Antiochus* (1669), the remainder of the first part also from the third edition (1669), and Books 3 and 4 of the original 1667 edition. 4 separate illustrations by F. Chauveau. Aigue d’Iffremont is known solely for this novel, published twenty years after P. Corneille’s successful tragedy *Rodogune*. From the library of Marcel Proust’s friend, the diplomat Robert de Billy, with bookplate. Lever p. 373 – Cioranescu 6696 and 6697 (1667 and 1668 editions).
