AUBERT (Jehan). *Le Voyage de Balaruc*, in which five historical dreams are recounted, three of which are narrated by three young ladies and the other two by the author of the said book. With several stanzas, songs, riddles and other entertaining pieces.  Lyon, Simon Rigaud, 1611. 12mo, fawn calfskin, decorated spine, red edges (18th-century binding). Engraved title-frontispiece, 142 pp.  First and only edition of an extremely rare work, unknown to Cioranescu, Lever, Merland-Parquez (Lyon, vol. VI, p. 302), Arbour, Brunet…  It is dedicated to Jean de Barras, prosecutor at the Parliament of Aix. This Jean Aubert describes himself as being from Ambronay, but he is unknown to Depery, *Biogr. de l’Ain*. Lower corners of the last three leaves repaired.
