First edition of this novel attributed to Fontenelle. Engraved and illustrated title page and 6 lovely plates by Gravelot, engraved by Legrand. A rare copy with the illustrations engraved in red, a condition noted by Cohen. Tchemerzine V, p. 340 – Cohen 77.
