In-12, brown calfskin, gold-stamped coat of arms on the covers, spine embossed with a full-length gold-stamped coat of arms (contemporary binding). 210 pp., 2 ff. First edition of two fantastical tales. *The Prince of the Sea* describes a utopian archipelago made entirely of crystal, rubies and diamonds, ruled by a prince afflicted by a strange curse. He is condemned to kill anyone who looks at him. The second tale is entitled *The Invisible Prince*. A copy bearing the coat of arms of Gabriel-Jérôme Bullion de Bonnelles (1695–1752).
