Small 12mo, orange morocco, gilt fillet framing and gilt coat of arms on the covers, ribbed spine decorated with small flowers and arabesques, gilt headband and gilt edges (Cuzin). Frontispiece, 3 folios of preface, 322 pages, 3 folios of table of contents. Elzevirian edition of this novel, which was first published in Paris in 1670.  A fine copy bound by Cuzin bearing the coat of arms of Joseph Guilhem de Lagondie (1809–1879). From the libraries of the Count of Lagondie, with bookplate (1879, no. 548); and Louis Masurier, with bookplate. Willems 1850 – Lever p.161.
