Compiled by M. de Saint-Evremont.  Paris, Brunet, 1702. 2 volumes in-12, black morocco, gilt fillet binding, coat of arms on the covers, spines decorated with coats of arms, gilt edges (contemporary binding). Title page, 2 folios, 498 pages, 1 folio – Title page, 533 pages, (1 page). Second edition of this novel falsely attributed to Saint-Evremont. The first edition was published in 1696 in four volumes by the same publisher. A copy bearing the coat of arms and heraldic motifs of the Countess de Verrue. Lever, p. 265.
