Description
[BUSSY-RABUTIN?]. *Le Tombeau des Amours de Louis Le Grand, et ses dernières galanteries*. Cologne, Pierre Marteau, 1695. In-12, red Jansenist morocco, gilded interior lace, entirely untrimmed (Trautz-Bauzonnet). 107 pp. (including the engraved frontispiece depicting Louis XIV bidding farewell to his loves).  Lever, p. 405, and Gay III, 1221, describe this booklet without naming an author, giving a different collation: IV and 171 pp. The text reappeared in Volume IV (pp. 241–347) of Bussy-Rabutin’s *Histoire amoureuse des Gaules*, 1876 edition. A fine copy from the libraries of H. de La Bédoyère (1862, no. 1506) and Charles Van der Elst, with an ex-libris.
