Paris, Olivier de Varennes, 1669. 12mo, red morocco, gilt fleurons at the corners, ribbed spine with fleurons, gilt interior lace, gilt edges (Niedrée). 3 ff., 132 pp. Second edition published by Olivier de Varennes, the first having appeared in 1667. This is a reprint of an anthology originally published in Rouen by Jean Lucas in 1667 under the title: *Recueil contenant un Dialogue du mérite et de la fortune*.  The collection is dedicated to the Duke of Montausier. The 43 pieces (most of which are unattributed) are by Bussy Rabutin, Saint-Pavin, Le Barbier and others. From the library of the lawyer Henri Lambert, with an ex-libris. See Lachèvre.
