NEW POEMS. Second edition. Paris, Guillaume de Luynes, 1695. In-12, light calfskin, gilt fillet binding, decorated spine, gilt inner lace, gilt edges (Petit succ. Simier). 3 ff., 129 pp. Second edition of this anthology of madrigals, chansons, rondeaux, etc. by various unnamed authors. The first edition dates from 1682.  A fine copy bound by Petit for Frédéric Lachèvre, bearing his superlibris on the front cover (book, quill, serpent and sun) and his ex-libris. The collection does not appear in Lachèvre’s bibliography of 17th-century anthologies.
