In-16, green morocco, framed with a triple gilt fillet, decorated spine, gilt inner edge, gilt edges, untrimmed (Hardy). 120 pp. New edition of a collection first published in Paris by Barbin in 1699, then reprinted in 1706 by Ribou. A fine copy from the library of Armand Cottin (1858–1930), with an ex-libris and handwritten notes on the endpapers. He had acquired the copy at the sale of Count Octave de Béhague’s library (1880, no. 1335). Lever p. 63.
