Description
IMBERT (Barthélemy). *The Judgement of Paris*. A poem in four cantos. Amsterdam [Paris], 1772. In-8, red morocco, triple gilt fillet, gilt doves at the corners, ribbed spine with floral panels and doves, gilt edge and gilt endpapers (Champs). A fine edition, partly in its original state, adorned with a frontispiece title page, four separate illustrations by Moreau the Younger, engraved by Duclos, Launay, Masquelier and Née, and four vignettes at the head of each canto by Choffard.  Following the poem are various other works by Imbert. A very fine copy. Cohen 505.
