SAND (George). *Les Beaux Messieurs de Bois-Doré*. Paris: Testard, 1892. 2 large volumes in large 8vo, blue half-maroquin with corner pieces, decorated spines, gilt heads, covers and spines preserved, untrimmed (contemporary binding). A fine edition published by Chamerot and Renouard for the Émile Testard art collection. It is illustrated with 250 woodcuts after Adrien Moreau, engraved by Bauer, Froment, Hamel, Meaulle, Rousseau and Thomas, and 10 compositions by the same artist, etched by Boulard, Géry-Bichard and Vion.   A fine copy on vellum of a publication described as ‘very interesting’ by Carteret, *Trésor*, vol. IV, p. 358.
