A superb publication illustrated with colour lithographs and decorative margins by Henri-Patrice Dillon, and a portrait of the author seated in his study-library, after a drawing by Félicien Rops. The cover is illustrated by Henri Thiriet. One of the 100 special copies on Japanese paper (no. 71) featuring two states of the inset plates, the cover and the portrait of the author.
