A twelfth-century chronicle attributed to Hües de Braye-Selves, a merry minstrel. Paris, Legrand, 1843. In-8, half black calf, gilt fillet and embossed design, untrimmed, cover (Lobstein). First edition. Author’s autographed copy sent to Charles Grouët.
2) TERCY (Fanny). Chronicles of Franche-Comté. The Tower of Dramelay. Second edition. Paris, Vimont, 1832. 2 volumes in one in-12 volume, brown half-calf, spine decorated with gilded ornamentation (Koehler). Madame de Tercy, née Fanny Messageot, was Charles Nodier’s sister-in-law.
