RICARD – Premium carafe by Elisabeth Garouste & Mattia Bonetti. “In the early 1990s, Ricard wanted to evolve the brand identity of its aperitif. To attract a new, more urban and more female clientele, the company approached the design consultancy Kreo, which suggested commissioning designers Elisabeth Garouste and Mattia Bonetti. At the time, the two designers were creating pieces that were a far cry from industrial design. But they rose to the challenge and proposed an object inextricably linked to the anisette: a new carafe. The Premium carafe remains, to this day, the designers’ most widely distributed creation.
