Large bulbous bottle
in earthenware, decorated in shades of blue and manganese, featuring Chinese-inspired motifs on the main panel, including pierced rocks, Chinese figures and pagodas on stilts; Chinese scrollwork on the shoulder; and stylised acanthus leaves on the neck.
Inscription in the centre of the body: A. 4or. Cordiales, meaning the four cordial waters containing extracts of endive, chicory, bugloss and scabious.
