17th-century cabinet from Antwerp rectangular in shape, made of blackened pear wood, ebony, red-stained tortoiseshell veneer and brass, the architecturally designed front, enlivened by undulating mouldings, opening to reveal twelve drawers framing two doors, the latter adorned with pediments, the reverse side of the glass panel darkened, and revealing a theatre of mirrors and twelve small side drawers.
