Two toiletries boxes attributed to the Foullon workshop or that of César Bagard, 17th–18th century
cylindrical in shape, with a slightly domed lid, decorated in bas-relief with a bird flying towards a heart and two birds embracing beneath a marquis’s crown; the whole is adorned with floral foliage and accompanied by the mottos ‘To see you again or die’ and ‘United for ever’. Body decorated with engraved flowers or foliage.
