A set of four Louis XV-period stools stamped ‘L DELANOIS’ The rectangular seat is made of moulded beech, carved and repainted in lime, whilst the undulating bands are adorned with flowers at their centres (on the longer ones) and at the upper part of the legs; the legs are arched, finished with scrolls and decorated with an acanthus leaf. H: 50 – W: 45 – D: 52 cm Signs of wear, missing parts Louis Delanois (1731–1792), admitted as a master in 1761
