Early 18th-century flat-topped desk Rectangular in shape, with a central section in rosewood and amaranth veneer; the dark top is trimmed with gilded leather featuring small iron fittings; it features three drawers arranged in a band, the drawers being arched and cut-out, with the central drawer set back on either side of two large clamps. Identical faux drawers on the opposite side.
