Description
Louis XV period chest of drawers The front and sides are curved, with tapered legs, and feature a decoration of violetwood and rosewood veneer arranged in butterfly-wing patterns within sinuous frames of light-coloured wood mouldings. It opens to reveal two drawers with no visible cross-bars. Gilded bronze Rocaille fittings, fixed handles, lock plates, spurs and feet. Top in Aleppo breccia marble.
