Snuff box in 750 mil gold and 850 mil platinum, shaped like a satchel, with rich guilloché and chiselled decoration featuring foliage and flowers, enhanced with turquoise cabochons and imitation red gemstones cut in a rose-cut style. Probably Swiss in origin, dating from the 19th century. Workshop mark ‘M’ within a diamond. The decoration was probably added at a later date. Scratches on the stones. 40.6 g
