750‰ yellow gold pocket watch, round case (28mm) decorated with friezes of oak leaves and acorns on an amati background, the back bearing the central inscription ‘BB’, white enamelled dial, Roman numerals for the hours, Arabic numerals at five-minute intervals and a railway-track minute scale, mechanical hand-wound movement, 750‰ yellow gold mainplate.
Horse’s Head hallmark, Départements, 1838–1919 (Besançon variant).
