French piece from the second half of the 19th century 750‰ yellow gold pocket watch, round case (27mm) decorated with scrolls and chiselled floral motifs, smooth bezel, white enamelled dial, Roman numerals for the hours, Arabic numerals in fives and a railway-track minute track, mechanical hand-wound movement signed ‘SAVOYE FRERES & Cie’, 750‰ yellow gold movement plate engraved ‘M. QUIGNOT’ and signed ‘L. ROTOULLIE A COULOMMIERS’, the back adorned with an undated coat of arms. Horse’s Head hallmark, Departments, 1838–1919 (Besançon variant). Gross weight: 22.1 g.
