French work from the second half of the 19th century A clasp-fastening bangle in 750‰ yellow gold, featuring a central oval motif adorned with a polychrome enamelled porcelain plaque depicting ‘The Virgin and Child with Saint John’ or ‘Silence’ after Annibale Carracci, set within a chiselled border enhanced with translucent blue enamel; the hinged bracelet is entirely chiselled and guilloché with ornamental motifs. Ratchet clasp and safety chain. Rhomboid hallmark of the Sinice DEBACQ workshop. Wrist circumference: 17 cm. Dimensions of central motif: 4.5 x 3.6 cm. Gross weight: 35.5 g. (Enamel inlays).
