Description
BOUCHERON, 1940s
Rectangular powder compact in 950‰ silver with grooved decoration; the lid is adorned with an openwork plate in 750‰ rose gold featuring a chiselled floral motif, the pistils of the flowers set with round faceted sapphires. Fitted with a hinge, it opens to reveal a compartment and a worn mirror. Grooved clasp with bevelled edges in gilded metal.
Signed ‘BOUCHERON PARIS’.
Made in France, with the HELLUIN ET MATTLINGER workshop’s diamond-shaped and square hallmarks.
