Henry PERICHON, known as HENRY (1910–1971) A large, hinged brooch-pendant in gilded metal, adorned with white imitation pearls and half-pearls, a pebble and a brown glass cabochon imitating amber, the setting punctuated with orange and brown imitation faceted beads and stones. Gold-plated metal pin. Signed ‘HENRY’. Dimensions: 10 x 3.2 cm. (Signs of wear). A pioneer in the creation of costume jewellery and haute couture jewellery, HENRY made a name for himself producing distinctive pieces for the cinema and the theatre, notably the Comédie-Française.
