Henry PERICHON, known as HENRY (1910–1971) A large, hinged brooch-pendant in gilded metal, featuring gilded metal nuggets suspended in tassels; the setting is embellished with black imitation cabochon stones and accented with white imitation half-pearls. Gold-plated metal pin. Signed ‘HENRY’. Dimensions: 8.6 x 4.1 cm. (Signs of wear). A pioneer in the creation of costume jewellery and haute couture jewellery, HENRY made a name for himself producing distinctive pieces for the cinema and, in particular, for the Comédie Française.
